Tottenham students gain 21st century technological learning environment

The newly built Haringey Sixth Form Centre, which is now open, has successfully partnered with Ramesys to achieve replacement and refurbishment of the school's ICT provision.

With the investment in ICT topping £1.1 million, students are benefiting from a range of modern technologies. The new building boasts WiFi technology, touch-screen e-mail facilities, and IPTV (Internet Protocol Television). There is Apple Macs and laptops as well as standard PCs and classrooms also offer interactive whiteboards and projectors for whole-class activities.

New technology is not limited to the classroom, even when the students buy their sandwiches at lunch time they come face-to-face with cashless catering technology. Forgetting their dinner money is a thing of the past, instead students purchase food and drink through the swipe of a card.
