Marlowe Academy successfully move to their new building

Ecclesfield School in Sheffield has partnered with Ramesys to provide the school with state of the art ICT facilities.
The first phase will see the schools network infrastructure upgraded and enhanced, with a new switching solution. Following from this Ecclesfield as a Microsoft Partner Site will be implementing Microsoft Learning Gateway and using this to establish home / school links and links into their feeder primary schools.
Longer term, Ecclesfield are hoping to use this system to enable collaboration between themselves and Chaucer School.

Contract Win - Ramesys helps Buckinghamshire County Council secure data

Ramesys has won a contract in conjunction with its partner Redstor to deliver an LEA wide centralised system backup solution. The solution will allow Buckinghamshire to automatically backup schools administrative and curriculum data to a secure central location.
In the primary phase Buckinghamshire are planning on using the solution to ensure that the schools administrative information systems are all securely and centrally backed up, with recovery available instantly around the clock.
Using one of the highest levels of data encryption, the solution is also planned to be extended to include all levels of data, reducing the overall costs for all of the connected schools.
Ramesys barbeque raises £1000 for IKHWEZI

Ramesys staff held a staff barbeque on Friday 16th to raise funds for our sponsored School Ikhwezi Primary School in Khayelitsha Township, Cape Town, South Africa. The staff are aiming to raise £25,000 in order to build the school a hall, as currently they have no way of getting all of the children together in one space.

Ramesys named as preferred ICT bidder for Manchester Building Schools for the Future (BSF) Project
Ramesys is Manchester City Council's preferred bidder for the contract for ICT support to the city's Building Schools for the Future (BSF) Phase One programme.
The City Council's Public Private Partnerships Unit, with the support of school representatives recommended the appointment of Ramesys Limited as its Information and Communications Technology (ICT) partner.
Ramesys now works alongside the City Council's Design and Build partners, Balfour Beatty and Laing O'Rourke, on this £200 million BSF project, which will transform 17 schools across Manchester.
The £200 million BSF programme is part of the national initiative to improve school buildings and is funded through the Department for Education and Skills.
The first School to benefit from the new BSF ICT Managed Service will be Wright Robinson Sports College. This is being rebuilt through a £35M Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Scheme, which is being developed by Manchester School Services Limited, a joint venture between
